ABS is an industrial engineering company that also carries out construction work thanks to its own mechanical and electro-instrumental workshops.
Founded in 1987 as an engineering company operating in the field of process control and industrial automation, ABS was initiated by a group of technicians from diverse backgrounds, all with over a decade of experience gained within engineering companies operating at national and international levels.
Thanks to the expertise developed internally and the involvement of professionals from leading international organizations, ABS is now able to offer integrated engineering and construction services in multiple industrial fields: Oil & Gas, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Food & Water, Renewable Energy, Green Hydrogen, Automotive, etc…
The fields historically covered by the company include process control engineering and industrial automation, having made an important and significant contribution to the digitalization of all refineries in the Mediterranean basin through the use of DCS (Distributed Control System), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and ESD (Emergency Shut Down) systems.
After completing this phase, ABS expanded into other engineering disciplines, first becoming a multi-specialist engineering company and then, with the implementation of electro-instrumental and mechanical workshops, an engineering and construction company in various industrial sectors.

The adopted structure, of a “matrix” type, allows for extremely dynamic and flexible operation on multiple projects simultaneously, enabling the use of specialized resources (capable of developing the specific technology of competence) on one hand, and the use of project management resources (capable of coordinating all engineering activities related to a specific project) on the other.
The identification of a Project Manager for each complex project closes the organizational loop, ensuring the continuous exchange of information between the Client, the site, coordination, and design.
